..... I guess i just didn't know what to say.
The past four weeks have been kinda crazy. I've been in Southern California and realized all the different opportunities that are there for me professionally.
I've been doing some real estate consulting and working on my presentation skills during this short time that I haven't been a Team Leader. I'm re-building a new real estate sales team in Stockton.
I've been enjoying waking up at whatever o'clock.
But mostly.... I think that the part where I have been the most happy about since my stepping down as Team Leader is that I really don't know what I'm going to do today - and I'm ok with it.
In the past, I would have never been ok with this. I want to have a path. A defined goal.
But what i have realized is that I can only control my own actions. And hope that things fall into place. and if they don't, then they don't.
I'm learning to make decisions that are the best for me - and not worrying about the outcome. Just make the right decision and let the chips fall where they may.
There is something that I am very excited about:
I have been working with Christine Papworth on creating a KILLER Short Sale seminar. We wanted to create a seminar that finally provided value to the agent attending and NOT just a money maker for the presenter. I have been to many a seminar and walked away "certified" or "graduated" from some program, but for the most part - I really didn't get anything from the seminar.
So Chris and I began brainstorming on how to make a seminar that was affordable (under $50), informational 4-5 hours, and create VALUE for agents. The best way for us would be to be fully disclosed on how Chris has sold 200+ listing sides in the past 24 months. And we are putting the finishing touches on it.
By making our presentation out of our service area, we can FULLY disclose the "Papworth Process" without compromising our local business generation.
Our plan is to create an amazing 5 hour seminar that will help the agents know how to Lead Generate for short sales, create a sustainable and duplicatable business using short sale listings, and most importantly - CLOSING THE ESCROW!
Our target date is Dec 8th in Corona CA. Stay tuned..... this is gonna be good.
